I've been trading with CCI(18) & Forecast Oscillator (18) with some success for the past year. Although I've had on & off love/hate relationship with CCI over the years, I absolutely find it useful when combined with Forecast Oscillator. I've managed to tweak the two to curve-fit the recent market movements, but for some reason, something seems to be lacking although I can't quite figure out what. Has anyone else come across the same path?

Here's a CCI screen that I have been playing with for the past few weeks. But I had more success with it being a 28-day period.

  Thx for the replies...

While Forecast Oscillator isn't currently being supported by StockFetcher, has anyone used it before? I know a number of you belong to the Prophet.net camp, which offers this feature. Bring up AAPL & you would see how effective this indicator is. Just by entering long as this indicator crosses above the zero line alone would have yielded a ton of money. Superimpose the damn thing with a EMA(7) and you have a clear exit strategy. Voila! Now ure sitting on a pot of...(well you fill in the blank). I hope I have offered something more than just another comic relief.
