  Hello,

Could someone please tell me how to change this filter to use the open and close instead of the high and low of the day.

 Thank You

The day point range is the actual price difference between the high and low of the day. The day point range is not converted to a percent.

  stan22,

If I understand you correctly...you are trying to use the Open to Close Range as a selection criteria...instead of the High to Low Range (which is what StockFetcher uses in their "Day Point Range" measure).

 Try this :

 -------------------

 ---------------------

The ClOpRng column will show you the actual Range between the Open and Close !

Also, The ClOpRng column has been sorted in descending order so the stocks with the largest Close to Open Range will be at the top !

Is that what you had in mind ?

 Regards,

 alf44

There already exists a OPCL indicator. Check out the following URL:

 OR

 Here's a rundown...

 In summary:

opcl = Open to close change
opcl% = Open to close Change Percent
aopcl = Absolute Open to Close Change
aopcl% = Absolute Open to Close Change Percent

  WOW...

...I did not know that !

My "offering" from my previous post is a part of a larger scan I wrote where the Open to Close Range is used.

 Oh well...
